At Aguacates Flórez, we grow and export Hass avocados from Colombia.
Since 2017, we’ve operated under a simple principle: everything we export, we produce ourselves.
We are a family-owned business based in Urrao, Antioquia—an agricultural region by nature. From here, we manage the entire process: we plant, harvest, select, and export directly to our clients, with no intermediaries. This allows us to ensure quality, traceability, and reliability in every shipment.
We export during two harvest seasons each year, shipping over 200 containers annually—all filled exclusively with fruit from our own orchards. This direct control is what sets us apart: we work every day to deliver avocados with consistent flavor, optimal ripeness, and ideal conditions for international distribution.
Our operations are rooted in more than 400 hectares of active production, supported by a skilled team that knows every detail of the process. We export to markets that value not only the product but also how it’s grown.
We believe in transparent commercial relationships, in long-term decisions, and in doing things right from the ground up.

Mision
We grow and export Hass avocados under high standards of quality, traceability, and control at every stage.
Our work meets the demands of international markets and is guided by principles of sustainability, social responsibility, and continuous improvement.
Vision
By 2028, we aim to be a leading company in the production, commercialization, and export of Hass avocados.
We aspire to become a brand recognized in Colombia and worldwide for the quality of our products, ongoing innovation, and respect—for the environment, for our team, and for those who believe in what we offer.

Urrao: an agricultural region by nature.
With ideal altitudes between 1,800 and 2,400 meters above sea level, a temperate and humid climate year-round, and fertile, well-drained soils, Urrao offers optimal conditions for growing high-quality Hass avocados. These natural advantages support stable ripening, consistent fruit characteristics, and efficient agronomic management.
But Urrao is more than a productive territory—it is a place where agriculture is part of daily life. Located in the southwest of Antioquia, this region has a deep-rooted farming tradition that shapes the knowledge, identity, and values of its people.
This is where we chose to start. Not only for its technical strengths, but because we believe in cultivating from places where agriculture is lived with meaning, commitment, and experience.

At Aguacates Flórez, we understand that a solid operation starts with people.
Our greatest investment has been in creating stability, formal employment, and growth opportunities for those who make it possible for every harvest to reach its destination with the quality we promise.
We believe that caring for the product begins by caring for the people who work the land.
From that conviction, we’ve built lasting relationships, promoted good agricultural practices, and fostered a culture that blends hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and environmental commitment.
