We grow and export Hass avocados using specialized technical management practices that deliver consistent quality and competitive attributes for international markets.

Why Hass?
How We Grow
Selected rootstocks
We use rootstocks tailored to the soil and climate conditions of our region. This technical decision enhances resistance to common root diseases like Phytophthora cinnamomi and extends the productivity and lifespan of the trees.
Integrated pest and disease management (IPDM)
We apply a rational combination of biological, cultural, and chemical strategies to reduce pesticide use while improving crop quality and sustainability—aligned with the expectations of responsible markets.
Technically based balanced fertilization
Our fertilization program is based on soil and leaf analysis, providing essential nutrients at key stages of tree and fruit development. This results in better quality avocados in terms of flavor, size, and oil content.
Sustainable water management
We use efficient irrigation systems, such as localized drip irrigation, to optimize water use. This contributes to both environmental sustainability and crop profitability.
Strategic and functional pruning
Our pruning techniques improve airflow, sunlight exposure, and harvest conditions. They also help manage tree size and stimulate fruit production under optimal conditions.
International certifications
We hold certifications such as GLOBALG.A.P., Rainforest Alliance, and others that validate our agricultural, social, and environmental practices. These accreditations are essential for accessing markets that require assurances of origin, traceability, and sustainability.
Growing Area and Production Facility
From tree to market, with precision and quality.
We grow our Hass avocados in a privileged area of southwestern Antioquia, where altitude, climate, and soil conditions naturally combine to produce fruit with high standards of quality and consistency.
Once harvested, the avocados are selected and packed at our partner facility, Mountain Avocados, located in Amagá, Antioquia. This facility holds international certifications such as BRC, GLOBAL G.A.P., and SMETA, enabling us to guarantee freshness, traceability, and full compliance with the highest export standards
